was to provide caring, compassionate service in a modern funeral home setting to the people of Manheim. Having earned a sterling reputation for doing just that, John Buch's business grew very quickly. Buch, who has been associated with the 100-year-old business on Market Square since 1949, is currently the Director of Family Services. The original business, which dates back to 1899, began as a furniture and undertaking business owned by Beck and Hammer and was eventually renamed T.S. Beck & Son. |

In 1992, John Buch sold his funeral business to Theodore J. Beck, a hand picked 7th generation funeral director that he knew would carry on his philosophy of service. Today, the Buch Funeral Home is proud to be a valued partner and friend to the residents of Manheim. |
